LOUISVILLE, Ky. — JCPS is back in school on Thursday, but the big question: will students be able to get there? As the winter weather moves away, one Metro Council member is pushing to have bus routes plowed after school buses struggled Tuesday and school was on NTI Wednesday.
“Bus routes should be cleared out,” said Pamela Jaylee, who took a video of a JCPS bus being pulled out of ice from her front window. She just picked up her own son from school. Jaylee would rather he learn in person.
“Because missing out on work means my kids are missing out on food,” Jaylee said. “And them missing out on school, they’re missing out on education.”…
