Woman arrested in connection to early morning shooting in Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — One person has been arrested in connection to a shooting that happened Saturday morning in Louisville.

According to Louisville Metro Police, just after 4:30 a.m., Jamia Wilson, 22, went to a residence in the 900 block of West Jefferson Street after a prior physical altercation.

Police say Wilson had sent threatening text messages and voicemails before arriving at the location with a handgun. She fired one round and grazed the victim in the arm. The victim was transported to University of Louisville Hospital, where they were treated for minor injuries…
