When a 3-year-old went missing last month in Okolona, it was all hands on deck for LMPD. They had officers on foot, drones and helicopters looking for the child. But it was a neighborhood dog they are calling “Lassie” that led officers to finding the little boy scared in an SUV!
This dog was not trained, but moving with purpose leading the officer to a backyard where the boy was found! Neighbors say the dog does have a home, but loves to wander on warmer days…
