LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A judge has declared a mistrial in the case of a Louisville mother who police say admitted to shooting and killing her 10-year-old son back in 2021.
Judge Mitch Perry declared a mistrial on Wednesday in the case of Kaitlyn Higgins and requested to look at evidence in the case. The reasoning behind the decision has not yet been released.
