Former Cluckers site in Jeffersonville to see $3M rebuild with restaurant, apartments

JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. (WDRB) — The owner of the former Cluckers site along the Ohio River in Jeffersonville plans to rebuild months after a fire destroyed the restaurant.

Maggie Moore with Riverside Properties said she’s working with architects and builders to develop a new 10,000-square-foot building on the site, as reported by our partners at Louisville Business First.

The property at 100 W. Riverside Drive was heavily damaged in a Dec. 30, 2025, fire that led to the building’s collapse. According to previous reports, a trash fire spread to the structure, and wind conditions complicated firefighters’ efforts, Deputy Fire Chief Mike McCutcheon said at the time…
