LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Shots were fired early Wednesday morning inside a hospital room in St. Matthews.
Just before 6 a.m. at Baptist Health Louisville on Kresge Way, St. Matthews Police Chief Barry Wilkerson said a female patient in a wheelchair brought a gun into the hospital, where she fired four shots inside a room.
She barricaded herself in the room, where police then called in hostage negotiators and SWAT. It took SWAT officers about 30 minutes to get her to give up the weapon, Wilkerson said…
