LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Jefferson County Clerk David Yates announced a new partnership on Monday with the Filson Historical Society aimed at preserving and cataloguing an extensive trove of historic documents, books, and papers dating back to the 18th and 19th centuries.
Officials said those documents could provide historical context about slavery in Louisville and Kentucky.
