Circa Survive fans got an unexpected surprise on Feb. 23, when the Anthony Green-fronted band’s dormant Instagram page came back to life three years after announcing an “indefinite hiatus” to share that they’re reuniting to perform at the Louder Than Life festival in Louisville, KY, in September 2026.
The “Act Appalled” performers, who last played together five years ago, posted the lineup to the event with no comment, and fans quickly noticed that that a “Circa Survive Reunion Show” was slated to take the stage on day three (Saturday) of the four-day event.
“Circa Alive?” joked one fan, while another added, “CIRCA SURVIVED THE HIATUS!” A third wrote, “Just stopped the f–king car, to see if this was true.”

Circa Survive was formed in 2004 by vocalist Green and guitarist Colin Frangicetto, who added guitarist Brendan Ekstrom, bassist Nick Beard, and drummer Steve Clifford soon after.
