LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The wife of one of the pilots killed in the 2025 crash of a UPS aircraft near Louisville, Kentucky, has filed a lawsuit against the airplane’s manufacturers including Boeing and General Electric.
The incident took place on Nov. 4, 2025, after Flight 2976 crashed shortly after takeoff from Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport, resulting in 25 fatalities including three crew members and 12 people on the ground.
Dana Justin Diamond, one of the fallen crew members, was serving on the aircraft as an international relief officer piloting the Boeing aircraft during the long-haul cargo flight bound for Honolulu, according to a press release.
On Wednesday, his spouse filed the complaint, which states that “the aircraft’s left engine and pylon separated from the wing shortly after takeoff, followed by a fire and subsequent crash in an industrial area south of the airport.”…
