LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Louisville drivers may be able to save money at the pump after the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announced it will remove the requirement to use reformulated gasoline in the Louisville Metro area.
Mayor Craig Greenberg announced the news Thursday on social media. The change is set to take effect May 27.
Today US EPA announced that it is lifting the reformulated gas, or RFG, requirement here in Louisville.
