Norton Audubon Hospital in lockdown as LMPD, Homeland Security investigate bomb threat

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Norton Audubon Hospital has gone into lockdown following a reported bomb threat.

In a statement provided to WAVE by the hospital, Norton Spokesperson Joe Hall confirmed that Louisville Metro Police and Homeland Security are actively investigating a reported bomb threat that was called in just after 3 p.m. on Thursday, March 5.

As a precaution all access points to the hospital are restricted at this time…
