A resolution, co-sponsored by all 26 members of Louisville Metro Council, is calling for a study of the lighting situation at school bus stops across the county.
The proposal calls on the city, Jefferson County Public Schools and Louisville Gas & Electric to partner on the study. The resolution asks these entities to map out the existing bus stops and the closest overhead light, and to figure out whether any of the lighting is faulty.
