Mississippi Valley Weather: Tornadoes Possible Sunday From Little Rock to Louisville

Memphis, Tennessee – Millions across the Mississippi and Ohio Valleys could face widespread severe weather Sunday, with damaging winds, large hail, and a few tornadoes possible as a powerful storm system moves through the region.

According to the NOAA Storm Prediction Center, a broad severe weather threat is expected to develop Sunday afternoon and continue into Sunday night from parts of the Mid-South into the lower Ohio Valley and southern Great Lakes.

The highest threat currently stretches across an Enhanced Risk (Level 3 of 5) zone from eastern Oklahoma and Arkansas through western Tennessee and Kentucky into southern Indiana and parts of Illinois.
