Clarksville police say a 59-year-old former college dean known by the nickname “The Professor” is facing felony charges after officers seized roughly 78 grams of suspected methamphetamine, counterfeit cash and drug paraphernalia during a nighttime bust at his home.
Officers executed a search warrant at the Clarksville residence on Scenic Drive on March 7, then watched as the suspect drove away. Around 9:30 p.m., police pulled him over, stopped the vehicle and arrested him without incident. Authorities identified the suspect as Alan White.
According to WDRB, a probable-cause affidavit states that White had been the focus of a yearslong investigation into local drug dealing.

Once inside the home, investigators say they uncovered two plastic bags holding a “crystal like substance” identified as methamphetamine. One bag was found tucked inside a cigarette box in White’s bedroom, while the other was reportedly hidden in ceiling tiles alongside counterfeit bills…
