Strong winds cause power outages across Louisville area, southern Indiana

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Strong winds knocked down trees and power lines Sunday, leaving many in the Louisville area and southern Indiana without power.

As of 6 a.m. Monday, more than 1,200 people around Jefferson County were without power, according to the LG&E outage map. At one point, more than 9,000 were without power.
