Metro councilman raises privacy concerns over LMPD Flock cameras

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A Louisville Metro councilman is sounding the alarm to privacy concerns over the Louisville Metro Police Department’s (LMPD) Flock camera systems.

There are around 600 Flock cameras in Jefferson County. The cameras are license plate readers used by law enforcement to capture vehicle data, like license plates.
