Man found in closet stabbed to death identified by coroner

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – The man killed in a stabbing in Old Louisville has been identified by the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office.

On Feb. 26, Louisville Police responded to a call in the 500 block of West Ormsby Avenue.

There, they found Charles Gerlach who had jumped from a fourth floor apartment. Inside the apartment, they found the body of 58-year old Randall Moore who had been stabbed to death and stuffed in a closet behind a mattress.

The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office said the residence was Moore’s apartment…
