LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – On Saturday night, LMPD dispatched additional units to the Big Four Bridge at Waterfront Park in response to multiple incidents involving mostly juveniles.
When WAVE got to the park around 9 p.m., there were several people walking around, though their ages were unclear, while multiple LMPD units sat in the parking lots and along River Road with lights on.
LMPD did not provide specifics on what kind of incidents officers responded to, though witnesses at the park told WAVE groups were breaking out into fights. An LMPD spokesperson said, “the incidents appear to involve mostly, if not entirely, unaccompanied juveniles.”…
