Louisville QB decommit suddenly becomes a target for James Franklin and Virginia Tech

A couple of days after having a busy weekend of recruits on campus at Virginia Tech, first-year football coach James Franklin is going to have a big day on Tuesday with another Class of 2027 recruit coming to Blacksburg.

Three-star quarterback Jack Sorgi de-committed from Louisville a couple of weeks ago and reopened his recruiting. Since he did, he has heard from several schools. He currently has offers from Wisconsin, Memphis, and Arkansas. According to 247Sports Crystal Ball, the Badgers are considered the favorite to get a commitment from him. On Tuesday, he will be taking a visit to Virginia Tech to see Franklin and his quarterbacks coach, Danny O’Brien.

Virginia Tech to host Class of 2027 QB

So far, early in this recruiting cycle, there has been no shortage of rumors surrounding the Hokies and signal callers in the Class of 2027. Andre Adams is high on Virginia Tech, and he will make his decision next month with the Hokies in the mix with SEC schools.

As far as other prospects go in the Class of 2027, Virginia Tech is also in the mix for Michigan de-commit Peter Bourque of Massachusetts.
