LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Louisville officials say they are increasing police presence in the Highlands as the city enters the spring and summer months.
Mayor Craig Greenberg said that in the Bardstown Road corridor last weekend, police issued approximately 60 citations and made 20 arrests.
Metro Council Member Ben Reno-Weber, who represents the Highlands, said there is a commitment to add extra LMPD officers and patrols as the weather warms up. Reno-Weber said social media can make it easier for situations to develop later at night…
