Ex-Louisville barista files complaint, accuses Heine Bros. of discrimination

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — An ex-coffee shop barista in Louisville is accusing her former employer of religious discrimination months after she was fired.

In the complaint filed with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Paige Rogers said she was fired from Heine Brothers Coffee days after having a conversation with co-workers about her religious beliefs.
