LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The countdown is on – Saturday marks 65 days until the two-month closure of I-65 in Louisville this summer.
According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC), the closure will span five miles of I-65 between the Watterson Expressway (I-264) and downtown Louisville at Jefferson Street.
That stretch of interstate is expected to close just after midnight on Monday, June 1 and reopen Saturday, Aug. 1.
