Man at center of WAVE Troubleshooters investigation sentenced to home incarceration

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A man at the center of a WAVE News Troubleshooters investigation this fall has been sentenced to serve three months of home incarceration. A judge found he violated his probation on a stalking charge Thursday afternoon.

Donnie Morris visited one of Council Member Donna Purvis’ constituents in August. Deloris Ezell and her Erika had been asking for help from Purvis’ office with an alleged squatter terrorizing them next door.

They never expected the council member and Morris to show up at their home in August. They didn’t know who he was and did not know his criminal record. Morris was asking about Erika’s Facebook comments critical of Purvis.
