Former Louisville police chief lands new job leading department in New York

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A former Louisville police chief landed a new job in western New York.

On Monday, the mayor of Buffalo named Erika Shields as the city’s new police commissioner. Shields will lead the department starting in May, pending a confirmation vote by the Buffalo Common Council.
