Grieving mother calls for transparency from LMPD in son’s death investigation

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A grieving Louisville mom took to a podium Saturday night, calling out LMPD detectives over a lack of transparency.

Nearly two weeks since her son was found beaten in a backyard in Pleasure Ridge Park, Tina Rawlings said no one from LMPD had called her about his case.

On March 23, LMPD got a call that a man who was jumping fences had entered a person’s yard in the area of Gerald Avenue, close to Dixie Highway and Greenwood Road…
