Man arrested for cleaver attack told police he owns all of Louisville, attacked man because he was a foreigner

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A Louisville man was arrested for attempted murder in what police said was a racially motivated attack on another man, who did not speak English.

Jeremiah Page is charged with attempted murder and first degree assault after attacking a man on Preston Highway with a cleaver on Monday, April 6.

According to the arrest report, after Page was read his Miranda Rights, he told the officers that he attacked the man because he was “trespassing on his land” and that he owned all of Louisville. Page told police that he attacked the man because he was a foreigner…
