Kentucky marks 3 years since Louisville bank shooting tragedy

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (FOX 56) — Friday marks a somber anniversary in Kentucky. It’s been three years since a deadly mass shooting that took place at Old National Bank in Louisville.

Five people were killed: James Tutt, Juliana Farmer, Josh Barrick, Tommy Elliot, and Dean Eckert. Eight others were injured, including two LMPD officers: Officer Nickolas Wilt and Officer Cory “CJ” Galloway.

What we know about the shooter

The Louisville Metro Police Department received a call around 8:30 a.m. on April 10, 2023, at the Old National Bank on East Main Street, regarding reports of an “active aggressor.”

Officers were on the scene within three minutes and “encountered the suspect almost immediately still firing gunshots,” according to LMPD Deputy Chief Paul Humphrey during a news conference the next day…
