LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – In one week from today, Thunder Over Louisville will return, a year after massive flooding canceled it.
Now businesses are gearing up for the big crowds, including Harry’s Taphouse in Jeffersonville.
“This is one of the biggest days of the year,” Jenny Trich, the restaurant’s general manager, said. “These fireworks solidify the beginning of derby season for all of us around here.”
