LMPD investigates ‘suspicious package’ at PNC Tower in downtown Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville Metro Police (LMPD) briefly shutdown access to the PNC Tower in downtown Louisville due to an investigation into a “suspicious package.”

A police spokesperson said traffic near the 100 block of South Fifth Street was briefly blocked due to the large police presence.

Employees at the tower told WHAS11 they received a notice about the suspicious package being found in the building’s lobby, which includes a Heine Brother’s Coffee Shop…
