LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Dawn at the Downs is a well-known, special tradition for Louisvillians and visitors, giving them an up close look at Oaks and Derby contenders workout on the track.
On Monday, dozens of fans were in attendance, including Kristen Nass, and Cheryl Miller, two retired educators who made their first trip to Dawn at the Downs with the extra time.
“We got up about 5 (a.m.) and drove down here, but it was worth it. It’s a great day to see the horses,” Nass said…
