LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A multi-generational win for a local family happens this May when Brandon Colbert, his wife and grandmother cross the Spalding commencement stage together earning their Doctor of Education in Leadership degrees.
“The Colbert family has shown remarkable determination throughout this program,” said Dr. Thomas Malewitz, director of the Ed.D. Leadership Program at Spalding University in a release. “They supported their cohort every step of the way, and their advocacy and service in the greater Louisville community will continue to be felt locally and beyond.”
Brandon, Danielle, and Kim Colbert are known as The Colbert Cohort. They enrolled at Spalding’s Ed.D. Leadership program together and have been completing their studies side by side while balancing life outside, including full-time careers and raising a young child…
