Meth found in ceiling during Lubbock SWAT raid; 4 suspects jailed

LUBBOCK, Texas — Taylor Cabaniss, 32, Aspen Uhlig, 36, Katie Jenkins, 37, and Hector Hernandez, 36, were all charged with possessing more than 4 grams but less than 200 grams of a controlled substance. This followed the execution of a search warrant at their residence on Tuesday evening.

On June 2, 2026, law enforcement members from the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office, the Department of Public Safety and SWAT members executed a search warrant at a residence in the 5400 block of East County Road 6540. During which, law enforcement found Cabaniss had approximately two grams of what authorities knew to be methamphetamine in his pocket, according to court documents.
