There are super-secret things happening at the Lone Star Amphitheater in Lubbock. That’s why the recent vandalism stings a bit. Resources that could have been put into this new project are now going to have to be shifted over to repairs. I guess such is life until we get these vandals under control.
So how about a trip to the Isleta Amphitheater in New Mexico? It’s now known as the First Financial Credit Union Amphitheater, but that’s just semantics. The venue was built in 2000 and has been a destination for shows ever since. I have caught a few shows there myself, and it’s a fun place to be.
