Lubbock wants to take images of street conditions, then grade, prioritize $14.5 million road repair budget

Lubbock is trying to stretch street repair money as far as it will go by scanning streets with special technology.

The City Council will consider a $324,000 contract with Roadway Asset Services for LiDAR (light detection and ranging) technology.
