WOLFFORTH, Texas — The annual Wolfforth 4th on the 5th event is returning and will be better than ever, with an event that’s poised to be one of the largest celebrations in the area. This free event will also feature live music, food vendors, family activities and a fun evening of celebrating Independence Day with friends, family and loved ones.
Kimberlea Groves, the Administrative Assistant for the Development Department in the city of Wolfforth, informed EverythingLubbock that this year, the city is expanding its celebration compared to last year. The drone show will nearly double in length, offering an impressive 22 to 24-minute performance that’s sure to entertain attendees of all ages.

“This year is our expanded drone show,” Groves said. “We have worked closely with our drone company, Aerial Illuminations, to double the length of last year’s show, creating an even more immersive experience for attendees.”
The City of Wolfforth’s drone show remains a safe alternative for both residents and the city. This fireworks replacement proves especially beneficial during the dry conditions the county may experience.
She said, “The drone show continues to be a great alternative to traditional fireworks, especially during burn ban conditions, while also being more considerate of veterans, individuals with PTSD, pets and those with sensory sensitivities.”…
