LUBBOCK, Texas — Lubbock man Brandon Bell, 22, was arrested on Thursday, June 25, in the 2500 block of 71st Street after police received a call regarding shots fired in a Lubbock neighborhood.
According to police documents obtained by EverythingLubbock.com, Lubbock police received a radio call to the 600 block of 29th Street on Thursday, June 25. Upon arrival, an officer with LPD observed multiple 9mm shell casings on the ground before making contact with two victims.

The victims told the officer that Bell was involved in an argument with the first victim at the location. As the argument escalated, Bell took their phone out of their hands, and the second victim confronted Bell about his behavior. During the confrontation, Bell displayed his firearm in a threatening manner.
According to the official documents, the second victim walked out the front door of the building to the house next door when Bell proceeded to fire multiple shots at him. The second victim then began shooting two handguns back as Bell entered a vehicle and began to flee the scene. While driving away, Bell continued to shoot in the direction of the neighbors home…
