LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Lubbock Fire Rescue is on scene at the 2600 block of 112th St. following a cut gas line Monday.
Due to current readings, LFR said in a social media post that 34 homes have been evacuated in the area between Akron Ave. and Canton Ave., south of 111th St. and north of 112th St.
Lubbock Power and Light isolated power to the block as of 5:27 p.m. According to the public outage map, 93 customers are affected by the forced outage.
Atmos Energy advised that at 5:32 p.m., crews were able to isolate the line that was hit. Five customers will be without gas service as a result. All other customers in the area are either on electric service or are unaffected…
