LUBBOCK, Texas — Do you ever wonder what the oldest restaurant in Lubbock is? There are several here in the Hub City that you may not know have been around for decades.
The Pancake House
The Pancake House first opened in 1961 at 34th and Quaker, where it later relocated to 8th Street and Avenue Q downtown. After the 1970 tornado destroyed the building, the restaurant was rebuilt and moved across the street to 510 Avenue Q, where it still stands today.
