A 25-year-old man who admitted to firing at a Lubbock County Sheriff’s Deputy two dozen times in August was sentenced Wednesday, July 8 to 15 years in prison.
Tamajhe Turner, who has been held at the Lubbock County Detention Center since Aug. 28, 2025, appeared Wednesday before U.S. District Judge James Hendrix, who sentenced him to 180 months in prison.
