The Texas Tech football team hasn’t exactly inspired confidence in the fan base through two games. So it is no shock to see Red Raiders take to social media to express their concerns. After all, X has replaced the local coffee shop as the place where people go to cuss and discuss the latest developments from their favorite team.
The less-than-inspiring showing against Abilene Christian could be explained away. Fans were able to tell themselves that Tech didn’t take the FCS opponent seriously, deployed a vanilla game plan, and had some rust to knock off as reasons the Red Raiders didn’t come close to covering the spread against the Wildcats.
However, those excuses turned into real flaws in week two. Managing to only beat Oregon State by eleven points after being favored by over 25 and having to come from behind in the fourth quarter to do so sent off alarms throughout Raiderland…
