LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) -For the 5th year, the Lubbock Police Department is hosting Burgers and Badges Tuesday, October 6th at Clapp Park from 5-8 p.m. the first 1,000 people will get a free meal. There will be first responder vehicles, free music and safety city will be open. Your well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome.

The Lubbock Chamber of Commerce is hosting its annual Harvest Luncheon, presented by FiberMax-BASF, on Thursday, October 15th from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Scottish Rite Learning Center.
