LUBBOCK, Texas — A semi-truck crashed into an overpass along I-27 in Lubbock Tuesday evening after the driver realized too late that the truck wouldn’t clear the bridge.
The crash damaged the overpass, creating chaos and traffic along the highway as crews responded.

LFR said the bridge that was struck is the eastbound frontage road of South Loop 289 over the northbound frontage road of Interstate 27.
