Officers were later directed to the crime scene at a residence in the 600 block of East 6th Street and found Rodriguez-Rivera inside the home.

Detectives spoke with Glover about the incident who said he got into an argument with Rodriguez-Rivera that turned into a fist fight, according to CPD. Glover said he armed himself with a knife during the fight while Rodriguez-Rivera armed himself with a baseball bat and used it to disarm Jamaal. According to CPD, Rodriguez-Rivera then stabbed or cut Glover several times and said he was going to kill him.

Glover had injuries to his head and arms and suffered a broken leg. CPD said he was transported to a Lubbock hospital where he is in stable condition.
