According to a previous report on EverythingLubbock.com, the non-profit hoped to reach or exceed their $75,000 goal.

Lubbock MOW stresses there are plenty of ways to give back and they are always looking for volunteers.

The ‘Easy as Pie’ fundraiser occurs every year around the holidays, kicking off with a pie-eating contest. Also, in return for a $5 donation, guests at United, Market Street and Amigos receive a voucher for a free Sara Lee frozen pie.
