LUBBOCK, Texas – Manuela Martinez, 32, was charged with first-degree Arson after she was arrested for setting a home on fire in the Heart of Lubbock on Tuesday night. According to Lubbock Fire Rescue, crews were called to the intersection of 20th Street and Avenue T just after 9:40 p.m. for a “possible resident structure fire.” The 911 caller told dispatch the home was abandoned and had “heavy smoke and fire coming from the windows.”
