LUBBOCK, Texas — Dr. Jeffery Norman Colvin, 70, was restricted from seeing female patients by the Texas Medical Board after he was arrested in November of 2023 and accused of Indecent Assault, according to a press release obtained on Thursday.

The TMB said Colvin was temporarily suspended back in December. According to the TMB’s press release, Colvin’s “continuation in the unrestricted practice of medicine poses a continuing threat to public welfare.”

According to the TMB, as of January 30, Colvin is no longer allowed to see, examine, provide consultation or practice medicine on female patients, including telemedicine. The press release stated, “Dr. Colvin has pleaded not guilty and is scheduled for jury trial on June 24, 2024.”
