Some of us knew this was going to happen. The Lubbock Police Department posted “Happy Black History Month” on their Facebook page and immediately some of us started popping popcorn. We all knew we were just minutes away from the first racist and/or “..but what about?” knuckleheads outing themselves on the page. I thought it was a nice message and appropriate for a diverse community. Then again, I also knew the haters would swarm the post like flies to fresh dookie.
