Officers saw the vehicle “driving recklessly” in the area and also decided not to chase it due to safety concerns, LPD said. A citizen later reported a disabled vehicle near 114th Street and Highway 87, according to LPD. Jameson and his vehicle were found hiding nearby.

As of Thursday, Jameson remained at The Lubbock County Detention Center on charges of tampering with an electronic monitoring device, evading arrest with a vehicle and a parole violation. His bonds total $20,000, according to online jail records.
