Cupid’s Chase 5K takes place in Lubbock Saturday morning

LUBBOCK, Texas — Lubbock participated in the 16th annual Cupid’s Chase 5K on Saturday morning.

The race began at 9:00 a.m. in the 300 block of Interstate-27 at Mackenzie Main City Park.

Officials described the race as “fully accessible” and “pet friendly.”

The 5K offered awards to the top three runners for male and female. There were also awards given to the top runners in various age groups.

The age groups included 12 and under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, 70 and over).
