Lubbock co. man stuck in tree after argument on Super Bowl night

LUBBOCK COUNTY, Texas- A Lubbock County man was taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries early Monday morning after he got stuck in a tree, according to the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office.

According to a press release from LCSO, deputies were called to the 5600 block of FM 2641 after receiving a call for service. LCSO said it appeared a 35-year-old man climbed up a tree after having an argument with a friend late Sunday night and could not climb down.

LCSO said Shallowater and Carlisle Fire Departments were called to assist in helping the man down.
